I'm Kateřina Švidrnochová — a service designer, learning designer, and strategic consultant. I help companies and teams change the way they work. From processes, through people development, to choosing the right technology — always in the context of where the company is heading and what its people need.
Every collaboration starts with an assessment — I interview people on the team, map processes, and analyse data. I want to understand the company as a whole: how the work of different teams connects, how leadership operates, which tools are in use, and where you're heading.
The assessment shapes a strategy for change. We then put it into practice together — I facilitate workshops, build working groups, and mentor leadership. I work directly with people, because real change happens in everyday practice.
I run design thinking workshops and hackathons, where teams design new services and products together — from the first idea, through a prototype, to testing with real users.
For fifteen years, I've worked at the intersection of technology and education. I'm an educator and learning designer — I know how to design people development that has a real impact on how a team works. At the same time, I live in technology — from cloud solutions to generative AI.
My approach draws on service design and current research into strategic transformation, technology, and education. I see people's skills, processes, and tools as one connected whole — and I look for solutions that fit naturally into it.
A company that understands its own processes and knows how to improve them. A team that can work with technology independently. Leadership with a clear framework for deciding on next steps.

At Masaryk University, I teach service design using AI. I co-lead the DETAIL research lab (Design & EdTech AI Lab). I speak at conferences on education, leadership, and digital transformation.
In Ostrava, I run a community of AI enthusiasts. I write a regular newsletter and share on LinkedIn how technology is changing the way we work and live.
